Vegetable Gels and Semi-solid Lipids

These ingredients are ideal when a firmer consistency is desired and when the emolliency needs to be improved. They are preferentially used as bases for balms and butters, especially for anhydrous and water-in-oil type of formulations. In oil-in-water emulsions they improve product consistency and skin-feel.
